Aditya Rawal is an Indian actor, director, and playwright who primarily works for Hindi films. He is the son of famous Indian actors Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat. He came into prominence after he played the role of Young Dilip Dharmadhikari in Ferrari Ki Sawaari.

Aditya Rawal was born on September 28, 1991 (age 33 years; as of 2024) in Bombay (presently, Mumbai), Maharashtra. He did his schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts at Mumbai University. Subsequently, Aditya relocated from England to Mumbai where he pursued a 6-month course in Devised at the London International School of Performing Arts. Thereafter, he attended Tisch School of the Arts, New York where he pursued a dramatic writing program.

Soon after pursuing his formal education, Aditya wrote a historical play, The Queen, which was produced by the Theatre for the New City in New York. Subsequently, he penned a short Chinese film, The Mailbox, which made it to the semi-finals of the NBCU Short Film Festival.
Subsequently, he has penned many screenplays for Indian and US directors. Additionally, his short films have earned accolades and have also been screened in several film festivals. He has co-wrote two storybooks in Child Rights.
As a Director
Initially, he directed and produced a documentary film, Drama-in-Education: Taking Gandhi Out of Textbook. Later, he made his Bollywood directorial debut with the film Kishan Vs. Kanhaiya, which is a compilation of the movie OMG, Oh my God.

In 2012, he made his acting debut with the Bollywood film Ferrari Ki Sawaari, opposite Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani. Subsequently, he played a minor role in Vikram Kapadia’s Bombay Talkies. In 2020, he played Nasir Jamal in Anurag Kashyap’s film Bamfaad. Thereafter, in 2023, he appeared in the Hindi-language biographical-thriller film Faraaz, wherein he played Nibras.
