Apple’s most anticipated debut, the $3500 mixed-reality handset, the Vision Pro, is all set to release in the United States on February 2, 2024. Before the upcoming launch, the Cupertino-based tech giant announced that the upcoming headset has the ability to transform any space into a super personal theatre.
Ahead of the launch, Apple, in a media event, mentioned the Vision Pro and added that with the device, users can watch content from popular streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and more. In addition to it, they are also allowed to download and stream TV shows, films, sports, and other apps, while can also use Safari and other browsers.
Meanwhile, in the same media event, the tech giant announced that the Vision Pro will get 150 3D movies at launch, including Avatar: The Way of Water, Dune, The Super Mario Bros and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In addition, the users will gain access to 3D versions of various eligible movies for free. Moreover, some of the giant streaming platforms like Disney+ will let users watch new and popular movies in 3D on the Vision Pro.

Talking about the features, Apple went on to say that the Vision Pro supports its new immersive video format that captures 3D 180-degree videos in 8K with spatial audio support. The tech giant, Apple, has also made a list of popular films and series like Adventure, WildLife and Prehistoric Planet Immersive to name a few, all will be available ahead of the launch.

Apple Vision Pro, powered by the M2 Chip, is a headset that features a pair of micro-OLED displays with a combined pixel count of 23 million. According to the tech giant, Apple, Vision Pro can last up to 2 hours on a single charge and offers 2,5 hours of playback. Meanwhile, it has the option to power it using an external battery pack via a USB-C cable.
