At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, a blast took place at the Rameshwaram Cafe, one of the busiest cafes in Bengaluru, injuring four people. The injured included the cafe staff and customers. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital and are currently receiving medical assistance.
No deaths were recorded; however, police officials said that a cylinder blow caused the cafe to catch fire. Social media users shared images from the explosion, showcasing the large numbers of people gathered nearby. A fire extinguisher had also arrived, according to a video from the news agency ANI.
The well-known restaurant’s premises got some damage from the explosion. To stop the fire and any further damage, authorities from the fire department, police, and forensic team reached the scene.
