At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, a blast took place at the Rameshwaram Cafe, one of the busiest cafes in Bengaluru, injuring four people. The injured included the cafe staff and customers. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital and are currently receiving medical assistance. 

No deaths were recorded; however, police officials said that a cylinder blow caused the cafe to catch fire. Social media users shared images from the explosion, showcasing the large numbers of people gathered nearby. A fire extinguisher had also arrived, according to a video from the news agency ANI.

The well-known restaurant’s premises got some damage from the explosion. To stop the fire and any further damage, authorities from the fire department, police, and forensic team reached the scene.

We received a call about a cylinder blast in the Rameshwaram cafe. Immediately, a fire engine was rushed to the spot. Initial suspicions are that it is a cylinder blast. However, it is being ascertained. It is a minor blast, and we have shifted those injured to the hospital. The incident occurred between 1.30 and 2 pm. We are probing it from all angles,
