Lasya Nanditha was a 37-year-old first-time MLA representing the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency. Nanditha carried forward the legacy of his father, former BRS legislator G. Sayanna. Nanditha survived a similar road accident on February 13 with minor injuries after attending a public rally of BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. A drunk driver with a white car ran into her vehicle, resulting in the death of her home guard while returning to Hyderabad.
Later, she tweeted and stated that she was involved in a road accident on her way back from Nalgonda. She said there was nothing to be worried about and showed gratitude towards people who were concerned and supportive.
