Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad aka Chiranjeevi born on 22 August 1955 in Village Mogalthur, West Godavari, Andhra pradesh, India. His father was a constable(Retd). Due to the frequent transfer of his father, Chiranjeevi spent his childhood in his village with his grandparents.
He did schooling at various schools in Nidadavolu, Gurazala, Bapatia, Ponnur, Mangalagiri, and Mogalthus. Chiranjeevi had taken part in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi in the early 1970s as an NCC cadet.
