Gulshan Grover is an Indian actor and producer who predominantly works in Hindi films. He came into the limelight after he played the role of Chappan Tikli a.k.a Jimmy in the Hindi-language film Sir.

Gulshan Grover was born on 21 September 1955 (age 78 years; as of 2023) in New Delhi, India. For his initial education, he attended a government school in Delhi. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he pursued his formal education at Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.

Family

Gulshan Grover was born and raised in a well-doing family in New Delhi. Meanwhile, Grover’s father’s name is Bishambar Nath Grover. Additionally, his mother, Rita Grover, is an NSD graduate.

Besides, Gulshan has four siblings. His brother, Ramesh Grover, works at BSquare Technologies. Additionally, his sister, Rita Grover, is an NSD graduate. His brother, Sonu Grover, is a businessman.

  • Fascinated with acting since childhood, Gulshan often participated in several cultural functions in his school.

  • In 1980, Gulshan Grover made his film debut with the Hindi-language film Hum Paanch, wherein he played Mahavir.

  • Besides Hindi Films, Gulshan Grover has worked in Marathi, Italian, English, Telugu, Tamil, and Punjabi films. In 2002, he made his Hollywood debut with the film Air Panic, wherein he played Philip.
  • Besides Gulshan, in recent years, Gulshan worked in numerous films including Mogul, The Good Maharaja, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, and Charlie Chopra.

  • In 1998, Gulshan Grover entered into a love marriage with Filomina. Besides the couple dated for six years before they decided to enter into a marriage. They have a son named Sanjay Grover. Nevertheless, the couple filed for divorce in 2003.
  • After getting divorced, Gulshan Grover decided to tie the knot with Kashish. However, his marriage with Kashish lasted only 10 months
  • Following his divorce, Gulshan was rumoured to be dating actress Somy Ali. However, none of them confirmed the same.
