The Indian Premier League is just around the corner. The opening ceremony of IPL 2024 will take place at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on March 22. Some of the most talented superstars will take part in the opening ceremony.
Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam are lined up to perform in the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2024.
The official account of IPL took to X and shared the news for the opening ceremony and wrote,

The poster announcing that AR Rahman, Akshay, Tiger and Sonu will perform at the event was also shared. The first match will take place between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The previous year, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia and singer Arijit Singh were seen performing at the opening ceremony. A clip of Rashmika went viral when she danced to Jimikki Ponnu in her green room.
Rahman and Sonu are likely to perform patriotic songs. The performance, including Sonu, Rahman, Akshay and Tiger, will last for 30 minutes only. Sonu Nigam and AR Rahman will collaborate and present some Bollywood numbers as well. Apart from the musical shows, the event will also have a never-before-seen AR (augmented reality) technology show, which will be a highlight of the ceremony.
Tiger and Akshay are now collaborating on Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ronit Bose Roy, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Sonakshi Sinha are among the other actors in the movie. The movie, which Aditya Basu co-wrote, opens on April 10. Rahman wrote the soundtrack for the film Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life.
