With a vast OTT ecosystem that is flooded with web series every week, there’s a show that gets under your skin with its excellent storytelling, captivating characters, vividly producing exciting scenarios with plenty of twists and turns, sensitively handling risqué topics without sacrificing entertainment value, and skillfully incorporating technical know-hows into the story. That is where Rajeev Barnwal and Sudhir Mishra’s thriller-drama Jehanabad—Of Love and War belongs. There are two sides to this coin: it enlightens you and draws you into the rural world of Jehanabad, which is marred by inequality yet bursting at the seams with love even in the most vulnerable places. While Sudhir Mishra, via his performers, carried the program ahead, Ritwik Bhowmik and Harshita Gaur were its lifeblood.

Abhimanyu, in contrast, is a man of modest intelligence and reserved demeanour whose integrity and honesty shine through in his moral compass. The relationship between Abhimanyu and Kasturi develops in the early episodes before it becomes intertwined with the other storyline.
