Kangana Ranaut claims Big B-level industry respect

Kangana Ranaut is campaigning for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, where she is often spotted making bold statements. The actress-politician was recently seen at an election rally where she compared herself to Amitabh Bachchan.

Kangana claimed that she has received the same respect as Amitabh Bachchan in the industry. The actor-politician is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, as a candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Kangana and Amitabh have not shared the screen space in any project as of now, but they both have been honofor red with the National Awards in 2016. Amitabh Bachchan won the award for Best Actor Piku, whereas Kangana won for her performances in ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’.

The actor-politician has given spectacular performances in several films and has won the audience’s hearts. She is all set to portray Indira Gandhi in her upcoming movie, ‘Emergency’. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles. It was written by Ritesh Shah, who also wrote Kangana’s film ‘Dhaakad’.
