Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut took to X and stated that she does not consume red meat. This came after rumors prevailed on social media that she eats beef.
Kangana wrote, ‘I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat. It is shameful that people are spreading completely baseless rumors about me. I have been advocating and promoting a yogic and Ayurvedic way of life for decades now, and such tactics won’t succeed in tarnishing my image.’ My people know me and they know that I am a proud Hindu and nothing can ever mislead them, Jai Shri Ram.”
Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar alleged that the BJP Lok Sabha candidate once wrote on social media that she liked and consumed beef. During a rally in Maharashtra, he stated that the BJP welcomes all corrupt leaders to the party.
People started trolling Kangana for consuming meat. However, the tweet stated, “There is nothing wrong with eating beef or eating any other meat. It’s not about religion! The actress turned yogi and left non-vegetarian food eight years ago, and she also does not only believe in one religion.
Kangana Ranaut is all set to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The actress has been in several controversies since she chose to join politics. Several opposition leaders have made remarks on Kangana. She stated in an interview that she faced a lot of hurdles in her life and people bullied her for not speaking fluent English.
Recently, Congress leader Supriya Shrinate also remarked on Kangana’s electoral debut, which sparked controversy. She posted on social media, ‘Can someone tell the current rate in Mandi (market)?’ along with Kangana Ranaut’s photo. Due to this, the party didn’t give Supriya the ticket to contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
