The teaser for Karan Johar’s ‘Kill,’ starring ‘King of Slow Motion’ Raghav Juyal and Lakshya Lalwani, has taken the internet by storm. Since its announcement and screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, fans have anticipated a glimpse of it.

It also comes with a cautionary statement. The caption adds, “Warning: This film contains violent content which may be intense and disturbing for some viewers. Viewer discretion is advised.”
Dharma Productions also shared the teaser for the movie on YouTube. It stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala in the lead roles. Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain produced the film.
The teaser features Lakshya and Tanya as a happy couple. The two of them are then seen on a train, texting and wishing each other a safe journey while sitting on different seats. Soon, their happiness comes to a halt as a group of dacoits attack the train. Lakshya is seen being extremely violent in their unpredictable train journey.
The official website for the Toronto International Film Festival states that Tulika, played by Tanya, is being forced into an arranged marriage by her family. In order to save her, her lover Amrit, played by Lakshya, and his fellow commando buddy Viresh embark on a mission. The friends see the need to use their martial skills to save the train and fellow passengers from the dacoits.
The film was written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Kill is all set to premiere on July 5, 2024. Notably, it was the only Indian film to be screened under the Midnight Madness programme at TIFF in August 2023.
Kill is a transition for Lakshya from TV shows to the big screen. He is renowned for playing the titular warrior in Sony’s historical drama Porus.
Moreover, he will co-star with Shanaya Kapoor in Dharma Productions’ Bedhadak and with Janhvi Kapoor in Dostana 2 in the future.
