Kratika Sengar is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Hindi television industry. She came into the limelight for portraying Rani Lakshmi Bai in the Indian historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani (2009).

Kratika Sengar was born on 3 July 1986 (age 37 years; as of 2023) in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. For her schooling, Kratika attended Methodist High School, in Kanpur. Soon after completing her higher secondary education, Kratika Senger pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication at Amity University, Noida.

Family

Born and brought up in a middle-class Rajput family, Kratika Sengar’s father’s name is Vedant Sagar, while her mother, Kalpana Sengar is a homemaker. Additionally, Kratika Sengar has a brother named Anuraag Sengar Vedant.

• Fascinated by acting since childhood, Kratika Sengar often participated in several skits and cultural functions in her school. Owing to her passion for acting, Kratika Sengar pursued a course in Mass Communication.
