Kubbra Sait is an Indian actress and television host who primarily works for the Hindi entertainment industry. After appearing as Kukoo in the Netflix original show, Sacred Games, she came into the limelight.
Kubbra Sait was born on 27 July 1983 (age 40 years; as of 2023) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Following her initial schooling at New Horizon Public School, she did her high schooling at New Horizon English High School, Bengaluru. Soon after completing her higher secondary education, she pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) in Finance/Marketing at Jyoti Nivas College, Bengaluru and the National Institute of Management & Information Sciences, Bengaluru, respectively.
She belongs to a Muslim family in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Kubbra Sait’s father’s name is Zakria Sait. Meanwhile, her mother, Yasmin Sait, is a homemaker. In addition to it, he has a younger brother, Danish Sait, who is a radio jockey.
She is unmarried. In her book, Open Book: Not Quite a Memoir, she recalled her initial eagerness to marry and have a family. Nevertheless, she later dropped the plan.
A paragraph from her memoir reads, “At 27, I left it and started my life all over again in Mumbai, when, at 27, I should have been married or having my first kid. When that did not happen, I stopped chasing the idea of what did not happen. I started chasing the possibilities of what could happen.”
Meanwhile, in her disarming honest book, she also recalled an abortion.

In 2016, on the eve of the 25th Literature Festival, she revealed that she was in a relationship with a Parsi boyfriend, Cyrus Mistry.
She follows Islam.
Soon after pursuing her graduation at the National Institute of Information and Management Sciences, she secured a job in Dubai. She worked for more than a year as a Marketing Programs Specialist at Microsoft, Dubai.
In 2011, she made her film debut with the Hindi-language film Ready, wherein she played Sunaina. In the next year, she worked in Jodi Breakers in which she played Vinita. Subsequently, in 2015, she worked in I Love NY, where she played Vidya Saxena. Subsequently, in 2016, she appeared in Sultan, where she played a commentator. Meanwhile, in 2019, she appeared in the award-winning film Gully Boy in which she played Scarlett. Later, she has worked in several films including Jawaani Jaaneman (2020), Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (2020), and RK/RKay.
In 2017, she made her digital debut with the Amazon Prime Going Viral Pvt. Limited, wherein she played Natasha. Subsequently, in the next year, she worked in Fourplay in which she played Brinda. The same year, she gained prominence by playing Kukoo in the famous web series Sacred Games. In 2019, she worked in the Comedy drama series TVF Tripling, wherein she played Sheetal. Later, she worked in major roles in series like RejectX (2019), The Verdict – State vs Nanavati (2019), Illegal (2020), and Waqalat from Home (2020). In 2023, she worked in the famous web series Farzi, wherein she played Saira. In the same year, Kubbra worked in The Trial in which she played Sana.
In 2022, Kubbra Sait came out with her book, Open Book: Quite Not a Memoir, in which she recalled several horrendous moments she faced in the past. Nevertheless, as soon as the book was published, it made headlines for the bold honesty Kubbra penned in her book. In the book, Sait recalled how she was sexually abused by her uncle whom his family considered an “angel.” However, she endured the abuse to save her family’s dignity.
In the same memoir, she recalled a disheartening incident where she was abused by a restaurant owner after helping her mother with her financial woes. However, soon after the help, he started sexually harassing her while urging her to not call him uncle. Not only this, but the horrifying abuse continued and she was only 17 when she lost her virginity to him.
Continuing with the memoir, in one of the pages, she revealed she got pregnant after a one-night stand in Amsterdam, in 2013. However, she aborted the child and held no grudges against the same.
