Disney viewers eagerly anticipating the return of the hit Marvel drama “Moon Knight” may have received a hint regarding the release of Season 2. The series, known for its gripping portrayal of Marc Spector navigating a deadly mystery, left fans in suspense after Season 1’s cliffhanger ending. While an official announcement is yet to come, recent agency updates and teases from insiders suggest a potential release window for the much anticipated second season.
As of 2024, the series stands unconfirmed by Disney+. Despite the series performing well on the streaming giant, Moon Knight Season 2 has not received a renewal. On the contrary, soon after the series premiere, there were speculations about Moon Knight getting a second season.
Oscar Isaac, who starred in a lead role in the Marvel series, said in an interview, “There have been some specific conversations. They were pleasant. The spilling of the details means that there are no details. We don’t know [if there will be a second season], but we’re talking about it.”
According to reports, filming for Moon Knight Season 2 is reportedly scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2024. Nevertheless, no concrete signs of production have emerged. Hence, there are no release dates for second season of Moon Knight.
With the blurry future of Moon Knight Season 2, in 2019, the Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, confirmed that the character would be showing at a point down the line in a theatrical release.
