Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, is usually seen attending parties of Bollywood celebrities. He is best friends with Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday. He was recently seen posing with Rihanna at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar.

In an interview with Forbes India, Orry revealed about getting paid for attending events and how he brings ”joy” to people by attending their events. He said, “For now, my focus is to spread the message of happiness. It resonates with people, keeps me going, and allows me to attend events that bring joy to others and myself. These appearances are currently my primary source of income.”

Orry is famous for calling himself a ”liver.” He stated that people want him to attend their parties as a friend and not as a guest.

People call me to weddings, and they are happy to pay me anywhere between ₹15 lakh- ₹30 lakhs. They want me to attend not as a guest but as a friend, maybe to the groom or someone else. So, my actual audience keeps me so afloat that they want me there at their events.

Orry also talked about his unique merchandise, which includes limited-edition T-shirts with his emojis, key chains, bag tags, and stickers that are now intended primarily for gifting.

Speaking about the popularity of his merchandise, Orry recounted how, after giving out some Orry’s merchandise for Christmas 2023, his staff received calls from people in Delhi and Haryana who wanted to order as much as 300 of those hampers for gifting. He continued by saying that although he has had several requests to sell these things, for now, they are just a method to show appreciation.
