About Pachinko 

Pachinko is the story of a Korean family and their four generations, starting from 1915 to 1989. In 1931, Sunja, the main character of the story, leaves her family under Japanese rule in Korea and relocates to Koreatown, Osaka, Japan, to make new beginnings. The series delves into the struggling lives and poor conditions of Korean immigrants facing discrimination in Japanese society.
