PM Modi Went Snorkeling in Lakshadweep Islands, Recalls as “Exhilarating Experience”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Headed Snorkeling at Lakshadweep Islands during his recent visit. He was seen exploring undersea and shared his “exhilarating experience” in a social media post on Instagram. He was seen wearing a life jacket in one picture and he also shared pictures of his early morning walk on the Pristine Beach of Lakshadweep.

The PM Tweeted the pictures and wrote, “For those who wish to embrace the adventurer in them, Lakshadweep has to be on your list. During my stay, I also tried snorkelling – what an exhilarating experience it was.”

Further, he captioned, In addition to the scenic beauty, Lakshadweep’s tranquillity is also mesmerising. It gave me an opportunity to reflect on how to work even harder for the welfare of 140 crore Indians.”

For inaugurating the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection and laying the foundation stone that held the introduction of the primary healthcare facility and five model Anganwadi centres, PM Modi visited Lakshadweep on January 2 and 3, 2024.

Reportedly, he also contributed several projects to the nation.

Further, talking to the X, PM Modi shared some more pictures from his visit. He captioned, Recently, I had the opportunity to be among the people of Lakshadweep. I am still in awe of the stunning beauty of its islands and the incredible warmth of its people. I had the opportunity to interact with people in Agatti, Bangaram and Kavaratti. I thank the people of the islands for their hospitality. Here are some glimpses, including aerial glimpses from Lakshadweep.

He went on to say that how the government focuses on uplifting lives through enhanced development in Lakshadweep.

Had excellent interactions with the beneficiaries of various government schemes. It’s inspiring to see firsthand how these initiatives are fostering better health, self-reliance, women empowerment, improved agricultural practices and more. The life journeys I heard were truly moving.” concluded PM Modi.
