Raghav Juyal is an Indian dancer, choreographer, and television presenter. He came into the limelight after he participated in ZEE TV’s dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 3.

Raghav Juyal was born on 10 July 1991 (age 33 years, as of 2024) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He did his schooling at Doon International School, Dehradun. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce at DAV (PG) College, Dehradun. Fascinated with dance since childhood, Raghav often participated in several cultural school events. In addition to that, he was part of his college’s dance club and showcased his dance skills in several college events.

In July 2023, rumours circulated that Raghav Juyal was in a relationship with actress Shehnaaz Gill. The news circulated during Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s promotional event. Career

Reality Shows

In 2011, he made his reality show debut with the show Chak Dhoom Dhoom 2, wherein he appeared as a participant. In the same year, he participated in Dance India Dance 3 auditions, but he wasn’t selected in the Top 18 by the grand master in Mega Auditions. However, owing to his viral audition video, he was introduced as a wild-card entry. Later, he emerged as the second runner-up in the show.

Soon after, he appeared as a captain and host in many reality shows like Dance Ke Superkids (2012), Dance India Dance Super Moms (2013), and Nach Baliye 7 (2015). Subsequently, in 2016, he participated in the stunt reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Moreover, he has been featured in numerous reality shows like Dance Plus 4 (2018), Dance Plus 5 (2019), and Super Dancer 4 (2021).

Films

In 2014, Raghav Juyal made his acting debut with the Hindi-language film Sonali Cable, in which he played Sada. The next year, he played Raghav in the Hindi dance film.ABCD 2. In 2020, he worked in two films, Street Dancer 3D and Bahut Hua Samman. Subsequently, in 2023, he played Ishq in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan. Controversy

Slammed For Racist Rhetoric

In 2021, a section of netizens slammed Raghav Juyal for mocking a 6-year-old Assamese girl with a Chinese accent. Meanwhile, this came from a short video from Dance Deewane 3 where Raghav was seen introducing the contestant Gunjan Sinha to Gibberish Chinese. Nevertheless, soon after the video went viral, Assam CM Hemant Biswa Sharma condemned Juyal’s racist remark. He Tweeted, It has come to my notice that a popular reality show host has used racist rhetoric against a young participant from Guwahati. This is shameful and unacceptable. Racism has no place in our country and we should all condemn it unequivocally.”

However, later, Raghav took to Instagram to clarify the misunderstanding. He explained that owing to Gunjan’s hobby of speaking Chinese, it was part of the script. In addition to it, Raghav apologised for hurting sentiments.
