Fascinated by cricket since childhood, when Rishabh was 12, he travelled to Delhi at weekends to train with Tarak Sinha at the Sonnet Cricket Academy. While in U-14 and U-16, he represented Rajasthan. Nevertheless, after facing severe discrimination, he fled to Delhi and played multiple matches while making his debut for Team Delhi in 2015. After that, it was Rahul Dravid who mentored and helped him redefine his skills.
In 2016, he was selected to play for Delhi Daredevils who hired him for INR 1.9 Crores. Meanwhile, on 18 August 2018, he marked his International test debut against England at Nottingham. On 21 October 2018, he made his International ODI debut against Guwahati. In addition to it, he made his International T20 debut against England at Bengaluru on 1 February 2017.

Rishabh Pant and actress Urvashi Rautela’s fight has been one of the major controversies of the Indian Cricket team. While media reports claim that Rishabh and Urvashi dated each other in 2018, Rishabh Pant denies it. Once, in an interview with a media house, Urvashi claimed that a man with the initials ‘RP’ waited for her for hours in the lobby.
Nevertheless, she refused to reveal the further details of the unknown person.
