Domestic Career

  • She started playing cricket at a young age and got selected for Maharashtra’s Under-15 teams, and in 2007, she got selected for Maharashtra’s under-19 team when she was 11.
  • In October 2013, Mandhana became the first woman to score a double 100 in a one-day game.
  • In September 2016, she signed up for a one-year deal with Brisbane Heat for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL)

  • Smriti Mandhana made her debut in international cricket against England at Wormsley Park in August 2014. She was selected for the World Cup team in 2017, but she suffered an injury and could not be a part of the Qualifier and the Quadrangular Series in South Africa. She later played against England and made her team win by 35 runs. As the team reached the finale, they lost to England by nine runs.
