Randeep Hooda’s Debut on Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Story

Randeep Hooda is all set to release his directorial debut, Swatantraya Veer Savarkar. The film will release on March 22 this year. The trailer for the movie is out on YouTube. Randeep is portraying a freedom fighter, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The film is a biopic drama directed by Randeep himself.

The narration in the trailer opens by informing viewers that this is not a movie about India gaining independence from the British only by peaceful means. An officer introduces Savarkar as one of the “most dangerous men” he has ever encountered. This is due to the fact that during one discussion, he managed to convince the British commander that he was at fault. He is seen bringing people together and motivating them to join the struggle for the homeland.

Ankita Lokhande, who plays his spouse, appears briefly in the teaser and cautions Savarkar that crossing the river and going the opposite way could bring misfortune to them. After that, the teaser takes viewers to the period of his life during which he was imprisoned. For the first time, someone has been sentenced to two lifetimes in prison. “God bestowed me with one life, but the judge gave me two,” he says in return.
