The story of GOHS follows the protagonist Jin Mori and his participation in a martial arts competition. The winner of the competition will be given the title of Supreme God. As soon as Jin Mori entered the competition, he realized that it was much more than just a competition. The committee organizing the competition has a hidden agenda. The story continued with the kidnapping of Jin’s grandfather Jin Taejin. Jin is forced to win the contest in order to save his grandfather. At that point, the attitude toward the competition changed. Competitors are no longer relying only on their physical strength, they started borrowing power from the ancient gods. Jin Mori possesses the power of the Monkey King.
After winning the contest, Jin uses the prize to repair the damage caused by the massacre instead of saving his grandfather. Will he be able to save his grandfather, will be interesting to watch in The God of High School Season 2.
